May, 2016, High camp had the pleasure of organizing and leading an overnight trip to Yosemite Valley with 140 North Face store managers and North Face Athletes. The two day trip was blessed with perfect weather and raging waterfalls, typical for this time of year in Yosemite Valley.
Yosemite Valley in May brings magnificent waterfalls, perfect temperatures, no bugs, and less crowds. Some regulars argue it’s the finest time of year, we at High Camp think so.
The group arrived into majestic Yosemite Valley via buses, conveniently, to a camp already prepped by High Camp staff. Shortly after settling in, the High Camp kitchen staff served dinner via a delicious taco bar. People ate dinner around camp fires while listening to fireside music, played by (fill in the blank), and socializing with colleagues, TNF athletes, and friends alike. A fine setting to meet new friends and catch up with old.
The morning brought a delicious breakfast before breaking into groups for various activities lead by TNF athletes and High Camp. The energy was high and people were eager to experience Yosemite and get to know other store managers from all across North America.
High Camp prides itself on creating activities for all ability levels and various interests. Yosemite Valley has so much to offer, it can be hard to choose, so High Camp chose and organized the most select activities for all ability levels and interests. Via climbing, running, cruiser bike rides, hiking, nature walk, and culture walk, the groups went all over Yosemite Valley experiencing it’s grandeur. Everybody finished happily tired and in awe from the beauty of the Valley and power of the waterfalls.
After the activities and lunch, TNF held a brief meeting with store managers in a beautiful amphitheater arranged by High Camp. Everybody couldn’t help but comment about the most beautiful office they had ever experienced.
Yosemite Valley is such a special place, we at High Camp feel lucky to share it with so many amazing people while integrating client interests. Will you be on the next trip? We hope so.
